AMC Global Media Reaches $120 Million Settlement With Walking Dead Creators

AMC Global Media has reached a $120 million settlement with Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and producers over a breach-of-contract suit, including an $85 million cash payment by Sept. 18 and $35 million by Jan. 31, 2027 as an advance against future receipts; plaintiffs will continue ordinary-course participation, AMC will book an $85 million charge in the September quarter, and the deal follows AMC’s Netflix rights renewal for The Walking Dead and spinoffs.
