Neuralink, Elon Musk's brain implant company, seeks human trial partner.

Elon Musk's Neuralink is reportedly in talks with Barrow Neurological Institute to be a partner in potential clinical trials involving people for its brain computer interface (BCI) devices. Despite setbacks in FDA approval, the company remains confident in its device's path forward. Neuralink is facing two federal probes, one concerning animal testing practices and the other related to improper transport of hazardous biological materials. Meanwhile, other brain computer interface companies have gotten further along in the steps necessary to reach market.
