Starbucks Workers Across US Seek to Decertify Unions

Workers at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chelsea, New York City, have submitted a petition to hold a vote to oust their union, Starbucks Workers United, with the help of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation (NRTW), a group that focuses on allowing workers to opt out of unions. The petition opens up a vote with the federal National Labor Relations Board. Starbucks has denied any collaboration with the NRTW. The move comes days after workers at two other New York stores, in Rochester and Buffalo, also submitted decertification petitions.
