Couple drops lawsuit against owner of imploded submersible after tragedy.

A Winter Park couple has dropped their lawsuit against OceanGate CEO Richard Stockton Rush, who died in the recent submersible implosion that killed five people. The couple had invested over $200,000 to participate in an expedition to visit the wreckage of the Titanic onboard an OceanGate craft in 2018, but the trip was delayed and they never actually took the voyage. The couple claimed Rush knowingly strung them along even though he knew the vessel was not ready to take the trip and wouldn't give them a refund. The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the submersible implosion.
