Elon Musk's X to Cover Legal Expenses of Former Twitter Executives

X, formerly known as Twitter, has been ordered by a judge to pay $1.1 million in legal fees related to investigations during Elon Musk's buyout of the platform. The ruling came in favor of former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, former lead policy officer Vijaya Gadde, and other executives, who claimed that X violated its duties to cover their legal expenses. X has only paid around $600,000 of the owed amount, with the company's lawyer citing "sticker shock" over the bill. The judge acknowledged the high amount but ruled in favor of the former executives, stating that it was not unreasonable.
