Meridian advances two developments at Idaho 16/Ustick interchange

Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval for two developments at the Idaho 16 and Ustick Road interchange: a 4-acre McUstick commercial project with gas station, convenience store and auto-oriented uses, and the 36-acre Durango plan with 127 single-family homes and six office buildings. The proposals move to the City Council for final approval in July, ahead of Idaho 16’s 2027 opening and the corridor’s expected traffic growth (up to 110,000 cars a day by 2045).
