Florida ticket nets $800M Mega Millions jackpot, largest prize of 2026

A single Mega Millions ticket sold in Bradenton, Florida matched all six numbers to win the $800 million jackpot (approximately $344 million cash option), the largest lottery prize of 2026 so far. The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70 and Mega Ball 12. The Florida ticket was sold at a Wawa and marks the first Florida Mega Millions winner since 2023. The odds of hitting all six numbers are about 1 in 290 million; matching five white balls (without the Mega Ball) pays at least $1 million. Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
