Southwest flight attendant dies in Hawaii layover as police investigate
A 50-year-old Southwest Airlines flight attendant, Jenny Lupton, died during a layover in Honolulu, with the Honolulu Police Department opening an unattended-death investigation. The airline is cooperating and offering support to her family; Lupton had 29 years in the profession and leaves a 15-year-old son. Family members say they don’t believe it was suicide and are seeking answers, while state authorities in Hawaii and Oklahoma coordinate on the case.
