Delta flight delayed for hours due to swarm of bees on wing at Houston airport.

A Delta flight from Houston to Atlanta was delayed for several hours after a swarm of bees landed on the wingtip of the plane. Efforts to remove the bees included a beekeeper, pest control, and even blowing exhaust on the swarm, but the captain eventually decided to turn on the plane's engine, causing the bees to leave. Bee swarms are more active this time of year and usually start in the South and move towards the North.
