Nationwide Recall of Frozen Fruit Due to Listeria Concerns

Plastic bags of frozen fruit sold at Walmart and Whole Foods have been voluntarily recalled due to a possible listeria contamination. The recall includes several products like Great Value frozen fruit bags, 365 Organic tropical fruit medley, and Good & Gather fruit mix. Listeria monocytogenes can cause nausea, diarrhea, fever, and other symptoms that last a short term for healthy people, but can be deadly for people with weakened immune systems or young children and the elderly. As of Wednesday, there were no recorded illnesses caused by this possible listeria recall.
