Dyson’s $500 AI Toothbrush Debuts With Real-Time Camera and Mouthwash Jet

Dyson unveiled the CameraJet, a $500 toothbrush equipped with a 100,000‑pixel in‑mouth camera, AI gap-detection, and a real-time MyDyson app. It analyzes up to 28 images per second to locate gaps and fires a conical jet of mouthwash at them within 100 microseconds, aiming to reduce plaque while being gentler on gums. The brush includes WiFi/Bluetooth, an anti-gravity tank for brushing in any orientation, a refill dock, and ships Sept. 8 (pre-orders started in Paris) in Ceramic Ultra Blue or Ceramic Pink, with two brush heads, a charger, and a two-year warranty. Dyson also teased forthcoming non-foaming toothpaste and low-foaming mouthwash to pair with the system; it’s positioned as a high-tech, premium take on oral care rather than a floss replacement.
