Elon Musk Launches X.AI, a New A.I. Startup to Compete with OpenAI.

Elon Musk has founded a new artificial intelligence company called X.AI Corp, with himself as the sole director and Jared Birchall as the secretary. Musk has previously co-founded OpenAI and advocated for the regulation of AI technology. His plans for X.AI Corp and whether he's looking to build a ChatGPT rival remain unclear, but he has reportedly hired former DeepMind researchers and purchased 10,000 GPUs for AI development. He's also in talks with Tesla and SpaceX investors to put money into his new venture.
