Lexus TZ Debuts as Three-Row Luxury BEV with Driving Lounge
Lexus unveils the TZ, its first three-row all-electric SUV for 2027, offering two battery options and a manufacturer-estimated 300 miles of range on select grades, with standard DIRECT4 AWD and Dynamic Rear Steering for confident handling. The Driving Lounge concept blends lounge-like comfort with driving dynamics, featuring a quiet cabin, expansive panoramic roof, Forged Bamboo interior surfaces, ventilated front passenger and second-row seats with power ottomans, and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. It runs the latest Lexus Interface and Safety System+ 4.0, plus advanced charging and battery-preconditioning features, EV routing, and a 2-in-1 charging port (NACS in the US). Aerodynamic design, a 0.27 Cd, and refined chassis tuning aim to deliver both luxury and driving enjoyment, with sales expected by late 2026 as pricing is announced later in 2026.
