Nvidia CEO: OpenAI investment will be huge, and I’m not unhappy

He also indicated the amount won’t exceed $100 billion and that OpenAI’s Sam Altman will announce how much Nvidia will invest. The Reuters piece notes earlier WSJ reporting of doubts and a non-binding nature to the deal, and mentions Amazon reportedly seeking tens of billions for OpenAI. OpenAI is said to be seeking up to $100 billion in funding, valuing it around $830 billion. Huang spoke in Taipei after hosting Nvidia’s suppliers at a high-profile dinner in Taiwan.
