AI entrepreneur Rob Carpenter predicts that within five to 10 years, computer kiosks and robots will replace most fast food jobs due to advances in artificial intelligence. Many fast food restaurants are already using AI, and Wendy's has partnered with Google to revolutionize the drive-thru experience. Carpenter's company, Valyant AI, has created a drive-through AI called Holly, which can outsell human employees. AI advancements could eliminate or diminish 300 million jobs, according to a Goldman Sachs report. Carpenter believes that AI applications will replace many jobs that fast food franchises cannot fill.
