Ella Irwin, Twitter's head of trust and safety, has resigned from the company, shortly after owner Elon Musk criticized the platform's handling of posts about transgender topics. Irwin did not give a reason for her departure, but her exit marks the latest in a series of high-profile departures from Twitter since Musk took over last year. Twitter has struggled to bring back advertisers turned off by Musk's drastic changes and loosening of rules against hate speech since he bought Twitter for $44 billion in October.
