Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, has formalized its policy allowing consensual adult content, provided it is clearly labeled. This move aligns with the platform's post-Musk strategy to differentiate itself from competitors like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. The policy restricts adult content for minors and users who opt out, and prohibits content promoting exploitation or harm. Users posting adult content must place it behind a content warning.
