Cruise Passengers Furious as Bahamas Trip Diverts to Boston
TL;DR
Passengers aboard MSC Cruises' Meraviglia ship were shocked when their cruise to Florida and the Bahamas was rerouted to Boston due to inclement weather. Instead of warm weather and beaches, the ship will now sail to Boston, Maine, and Canada. The change was communicated to passengers the night before the cruise. Some passengers were disappointed, as they had planned for a tropical vacation. MSC Cruises offered customers the option to rebook or receive a refund for a future cruise.
