Cruise Passengers Stage Hunger Strike Over Canceled Antarctic Voyage

Passengers on the luxury cruise ship SH Diana, operated by Swan Hellenic, have staged a hunger strike after engine issues cut short their Antarctic trip. The cruise, which started in Cape Town, was supposed to include a highlight visit to Antarctica, but a malfunctioning propulsion motor forced the ship to dock early in Ushuaia. In response to passenger dissatisfaction, Swan Hellenic offered a 50% cash refund and a 65% credit for future cruises. Despite the compensation, some passengers remain upset, with a few resorting to a hunger strike.
