Thieves stole about 413,793 KitKat bars weighing roughly 12 tons from a truck traveling from a Nestlé factory in central Italy to Poland; the vehicle and its contents remain unaccounted for, but Nestlé says consumer safety and supply are not affected, noting cargo theft and fraud are rising in the sector according to IUMI and TAPA.
