Window breaks midflight; wife recalls heroic save as Ryanair plane returns

A Ryanair Malta Air flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen was forced to return after a cabin window dislodged minutes after takeoff, leaving a 61-year-old passenger partially outside the aircraft. His wife and another passenger pulled him back inside during a nearly two-minute struggle as the plane descended. He was hospitalized with serious injuries after the aircraft safely landed back in Thessaloniki, and Greece’s air-safety authority is investigating the incident.
