"Lempicka: A Broadway Musical Struggles to Capture the Artist's Life"
TL;DR
The Broadway musical "Lempicka" struggles to bring the life of artist Tamara de Lempicka to the stage, with overwrought performances and a clunky, unfocused book. Despite talented actors and attempts to infuse the show with modern appeal, the production fails to capture the complexity and ambivalence of its subject, ultimately feeling forced and predictable.
