Forecasters say summer 2026 could finish around $4.61 billion, potentially making it the second-highest 123-day summer on record if Labor Day weekend overperforms. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has dominated the season, possibly crossing $900 million domestic and accounting for a large share of the total alongside The Odyssey, with Toy Story 5 and Obsession contributing as well.
