60 Minutes in Turmoil as Top Staff Departures Mount

Henry Schuster, a longtime 60 Minutes producer, announced his departure amid CBS News’ ongoing leadership upheaval that has included firings and buyouts following Bari Weiss’s leadership. The shakeup has already seen Draggan Mihailovich, Tanya Simon, Cecilia Vega and Sharyn Alfonsi dismissed, and Scott Pelley fired after criticizing Weiss. Schuster, who joined 60 Minutes in 2007, says he’s open to new projects as he leaves during this turbulent period.
