Fans and DOJ Challenge Ticketmaster and Live Nation in Court

Fans of Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and other artists have filed a lawsuit against Ticketmaster and Live Nation, accusing them of price gouging and antitrust violations. The lawsuit, filed in California, claims the companies colluded with venues to inflate ticket prices, violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). This follows a similar lawsuit from earlier this year and ongoing federal antitrust litigation against the companies, which are accused of monopolistic practices that lead to higher ticket prices.
