TL;DR
Disney announced the release of a new "Star Wars" film in 2026, while delaying the next three installments of James Cameron's "Avatar" series. The release dates for "Thunderbolts" and "Blade," two Marvel films, were also pushed back due to the ongoing Hollywood writers' strike.
