Night Shift Ghostbusters: Netflix Unveils 1990s NYC Team at Annecy

Netflix unveiled Ghostbusters: Night Shift at Annecy—first look, logline, clip and concept art for an animated series set in 1994 New York, where a scrappy new Ghostbusters crew (Belladonna, Mitzi, Zoe, Travis, Mike and Terror Puppy) faces a fresh supernatural wave five years after the Statue of Liberty incident; exec producers include Jason Reitman, Dan Aykroyd and Amie Karp, with showrunners Ben Hibon and Elliott Kalan. The Netflix/Sony Pictures Animation project aims to fill the gap between the 1984 original and Ghostbusters II with a grittier, street-level look.
