
Netflix Dives Into The One Piece, Ghostbusters and a New Ray Gunn at Annecy
At Annecy, Netflix unveiled its 2026+ animation slate, including Brad Bird’s Ray Gunn with a Dec. 18 release, a new The One Piece anime by WIT Studio with Masashi Koizuka directing and Mayumi Tanaka voicing Luffy for a global 2027 debut, and Ghostbusters: Night Shift from Sony Pictures Animation, set five years after the films; the company also previewed titles like Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory, Alley Cats, and Steps, signaling a broad expansion of Netflix’s animation and anime output.
