Prince William Takes Earthshot Prize Awards to Asia, Starting with Singapore in 2023.

The Earthshot Prize, launched by Prince William in 2020 to promote impactful approaches to environmental challenges, will hold its third annual awards ceremony in Singapore on November 7th. The ceremony will be preceded by Earthshot Week, during which global leaders, businesses, and investors will convene to explore opportunities with Earthshot Prize winners and finalists aimed at accelerating their solutions and bringing about tangible action to repair the planet. Over 1,100 entries were submitted to the climate challenge this year, with 60% of nominees active in the Global South. The pressure is especially intense in the year of the U.N.'s global stocktake, with the aim of reducing carbon emissions by 40% and protecting 30% of the world's nature and oceans by 2030.
