"All of Us Strangers": A Haunting Tale of Longing and Ghostly Encounters
"All of Us Strangers" is an eerie and mesmerizing ghost story that follows Adam, a lonely and creatively blocked screenwriter, as he embarks on a tentative affair with his building-mate Harry. This relationship leads Adam to revisit the circumstances of his parents' death and delve into a parallel reality. Directed by Andrew Haigh, the film blurs the lines between dream, reality, and wish-fulfillment, creating a haunting and emotionally engulfing experience. With a slow-burning chemistry between Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, unexpected twists, and an emotionally moving reveal, "All of Us Strangers" is a romantic drama that offers sensuous pleasures and explores the cosmic embrace of everlasting life.
