Cena Drives Mattel’s Matchbox to Apple TV with New Trailer

Mattel’s Matchbox toy cars are headed to the big screen in Apple Original Films’ Matchbox, led by John Cena as Sean Walker in a Sam Hargrave-directed action adventure. The film, based on the die‑cast toy line, follows a group of childhood friends who must stop a worldwide disaster, with Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Randeep Hooda also starring. Scripted by David Coggeshall, the movie arrives on Apple TV on Oct. 9 and is produced by Skydance and Mattel Films.
