Ink Opens Venice 2026 with Star-Studded Premiere and Lifetime Honors

The 83rd Venice International Film Festival opens with the world premiere of Danny Boyle’s Ink on the opening red carpet, featuring stars like Claire Foy, Guy Pearce and Jack O’Connell; Maggie Gyllenhaal leads the main competition jury as the festival runs Sept. 2–12 with 21 in-competition titles, including notable pairings such as Werner Herzog’s Bucking Fastard.
