TL;DR

The remake of the '80s cult classic "Road House" is a goofy and violent tribute to its predecessor, featuring Jake Gyllenhaal as the tough-guy protagonist. Set in a Florida Keys road house, the film follows the familiar plot of a hero cleaning up a town plagued by troublemakers, with Conor McGregor making a notable appearance. While the movie's third act may divide opinions, it still delivers a punch and was well-received at the SXSW Film Festival, despite controversy over its streaming release.
