Jenna Ortega Takes the Spotlight in Klara and the Sun Trailer

Deadline reports the official trailer for Klara and the Sun, Taika Waititi’s film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel, starring Jenna Ortega as Klara opposite Amy Adams and Natasha Lyonne. Klara, an Artificial Friend, longs to find a home as older AF models face obsolescence, with Josie (Mia Tharia) drawn to her quiet wonder and Store Manager Lyonne guiding them through a world where technology reshapes relationships. Directed by Waititi and written with Dahvi Waller, the film also features Aran Murphy and Steve Buscemi, and is slated for a PG-13 theatrical release on October 23.
