Rihanna Leads Nostalgic Smurfs Reboot in 2025 Animated Musical
TL;DR
The new 'Smurfs' movie, the first in eight years, is a colorful, musical, family-friendly film featuring Rihanna as Smurfette. While it offers some fun visual moments and musical sequences, it ultimately feels bland and derivative, with characters that lack depth and a predictable plot. It is a safe, amiable diversion for children but doesn't transcend its innocence.
