TL;DR

The Lost King, starring Sally Hawkins and Steve Coogan, tells the story of Philippa Langley's journey to discover the remains of King Richard III, whose final resting place had been a matter of debate since his death in 1485. Langley becomes convinced that Richard III might not have been the villain he was made out to be and hopes to give him a proper burial. The film explores the tension between the exaltation of royal power and the ennobling of common individuals.
