Renowned Figures Demand Urgent Gaza Ceasefire

Thousands of artists, writers, curators, and filmmakers, including Nan Goldin, Barbara Kruger, Tania Bruguera, and Cecilia Vicuña, have signed an open letter calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the end of human rights violations and war crimes, and the recognition of the crimes against humanity faced by the Palestinian people. The letter demands that organizations and institutions break their silence on Israel's actions and highlights the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where over 4,200 Palestinian civilians have been killed and more than 1 million displaced. The signatories reject violence against all civilians and call for the root cause of violence, oppression, and occupation, to be addressed.
