Harvey Weinstein Enlists Bill Cosby's Lawyer for L.A. Conviction Appeal

Harvey Weinstein has hired a new legal team, led by Jennifer Bonjean, to handle his appeal in Los Angeles after being found guilty of sexual assault and rape and sentenced to 16 years. Bonjean, who successfully defended Bill Cosby, will work alongside Michael Freedman. Weinstein's new legal team will also represent him in his civil case against a European model who accused him of rape. Weinstein is also appealing his conviction in New York, where he was sentenced to 23 years in 2020.
