Prince Harry caught up in UK tabloid phone hacking scandal.

Prince Harry is giving evidence in a seven-week trial alleging that journalists from Mirror Group Newspapers illegally hacked his phone and those of other celebrities to generate stories. The claimants allege that journalists exploited a gap in mobile phone security to access voicemail and used private investigators to obtain confidential information. The trial will consider 207 newspaper stories published between 1991 and 2011, with allegations that senior executives knew of illegal activity. Former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan is accused of knowing about hacking, which he denies. Mirror Group Newspapers has previously admitted phone hacking took place.
