Best-selling author Suleika Jaouad and Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste have transformed their 1890s Italianate townhouse in Brooklyn into a soulful and elegant sanctuary that reflects their shared Francophone and African heritage. The home features Tunisian tiles, antique stained glass panels, and a pink kitchen inspired by New Orleans. The couple's families' artwork and collected treasures from their travels adorn the space. The renovation process became a healing journey for Jaouad, who was diagnosed with cancer during the project.
