Rod Stewart’s World Cup moment sparks backlash after last-minute concert cancellation
TL;DR
Rod Stewart drew backlash by celebrating Scotland’s World Cup win in the Boston stands just hours after canceling a California concert due to an acute respiratory infection and laryngitis. He reportedly flew to Boston with his sons to attend the match, posted clips, and joined a crowd chant, despite the earlier cancellation. His next scheduled show is Colorado’s Red Rocks, as he continues his long farewell tour and has previously hinted UK dates could be his final big run.
