Boy George Pulls Out of West End Jesus Christ Superstar Over Pro-Israel AI Song
TL;DR
Boy George has withdrawn from the West End revival of Jesus Christ Superstar after releasing an AI-assisted pro-Israel song, ‘We Will Dance Again,’ which praises Israel’s military actions and minimizes Palestinian suffering. His manager said the decision was made to respect the producers and the company and to allow the production to move forward. The track, tied to ongoing Gaza-related controversy, appears to no longer be available online, and it’s unclear whether George’s turn as King Herod will be filled in his absence.
