Boy George parts ways with label chief over pro-Israel track
Boy George confirms he has split with Tony Pontius, the longtime manager who ran his label BGP, after Pontius refused to release his pro-Israel song ‘We Will Dance Again’; George says he will release the track anyway and criticizes Pontius as “gutless.” Pontius has not commented. The song addresses Israel’s war in Gaza and the Hamas massacre at the Nova festival, and George’s recent career move included pulling out of a London production of Jesus Christ Superstar with Paul Kelmsley taking over management.
