TL;DR

Dee Snider, former singer of Twisted Sister, has defended his support for Paul Stanley's anti-trans tweet, stating that he was not aware that the trans community expects total agreement with all their beliefs. Snider insists that he supports the trans community and their right to identify as they want, but believes that young children are not mentally developed enough to make rational decisions on things that will affect them for the rest of their lives. SF Pride has decided to "part ways" with Snider after inviting him to be a Grand Marshal in their parade.
