A second copyright infringement lawsuit against Ed Sheeran over his hit song "Thinking Out Loud" has been dismissed by a US judge before it went to trial. The lawsuit was filed by Structured Asset Sales, which owns part of the copyright to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On." The judge ruled that the chord progression and harmonic rhythm in "Let's Get It On" were too commonplace to be protected. However, Structured Asset Sales still has one more lawsuit pending over the song.
