Lizzo Announces 12-Track LP Bitch, Interpolating Meredith Brooks

Lizzo is pivoting from her Love in Real Life project to a new 12-song LP titled Bitch, due June 5 via Nice Life/Atlantic; the title track will drop May 1 after the lead single Don’t Make Me Love U. The album features a Meredith Brooks interpolation of the 1997 hit Bitch, reclaiming the word as empowerment. This marks her first LP in four years, following earlier teasers, and she’s also pursuing other projects (a children’s book and an acting role). The tracklist includes A Toast, Happy 2 Be, Don’t Make Me Love U, Bitch, She Stole My Man, Whose Hair Is This, Little Black Cat, Sexy Ladies, That GRRRL, Too Nice, Like a Crime, and Goodmorning!
