Ted Nugent's Alabama Concert Canceled Amid Controversy.
TL;DR
Ted Nugent's July 18 show in Alabama was cancelled by Avondale Brewing Co. due to a strong backlash on social media against the rocker's far right-wing political views. Nugent responded on social media, calling his detractors "liars & haters drunk on stupid." While some of Nugent's supporters have criticized the venue for caving to cancel culture, others have suggested he perform at more conservative-friendly events in Alabama. Nugent's farewell tour, "Adios MOFO '23," is still scheduled to continue in other cities.
