Gwen Farrell Adair, the versatile actress who played multiple nurses on M*A*S*H, died of natural causes at age 94 in Sherman Oaks. Born in Austin, Texas, she appeared on M*A*S*H from its 1972 debut through its 1983 run, and also acted in Starsky & Hutch and films such as Black Gunn, Soylent Green, Coffy, Earthquake, Towering Inferno, and Billy Jack Goes to Washington. Beyond acting, she managed Los Angeles boxers, became the first female licensed referee in 1979, and owned a Fatburger franchise. Her family described her as a guiding light and scheduled GoFundMe arrangements for funeral expenses.
