McDonald’s is launching a SpongeBob x One Piece Happy Meal in the U.S. starting Sept. 15, featuring 15 exclusive toys that reimagine Bikini Bottom characters as members of the Straw Hat crew. The cross-brand collaboration, available for a limited time at participating locations, marks the latest in a string of fast-food mashups (following Hello Kitty x Godzilla and Wendy’s SpongeBob tie-ins) that blend anime and cartoon franchises with kids’ meals.
