"Debate Erupts Over Performance of 'Black National Anthem' at Super Bowl"
TL;DR
The NFL has sparked controversy by confirming that the black national anthem, 'Lift Every Voice and Sing,' will be performed at the 2024 Super Bowl. While some view it as a positive gesture acknowledging the suffering of black Americans, others criticize it for dividing audiences instead of unifying the country. The decision has drawn mixed reactions, with some arguing for a single national anthem for all Americans and others supporting the acknowledgment of the struggles and aspirations of black Americans.
